* June 27th, 2009 -- The Florida Gospel Announcers Guild - GMWA honored Cecil L. Brown, Founder & Publisher of Gospel USA Magazine, by naming a Florida Gospel Hall Of Fame Award after him.   The award is officially called the "Cecil Brown Media Award."  The standard guidelines for receiving this award are of high standards that require awesome qualities that impact the Gospel industry of Florida.   This prestigious award was presented at FGAG's 2009 state convention in Jacksonville, Florida and will be presented hereafter at their bi-annual state convention.

* Others honors include -- Cecil Brown was inducted into the FGAG Gospel Hall Of Fame (2007);   Gospel USA Magazine won the "Print Media of the Year" award from the national Gospel Announcers Guild - GMWA (2005);   Gospel USA Magazine won the "Print Media of the Year" award from the Rhythm Of Gospel Awards (2010) and also from the South Florida Gospel Music Awards (2010).   Other wins include "Businessman of the Year," several "Excellence In Gospel" awards, "Miami cultural Arts Ambassador" and many more.  Go with a winner!
